Barbara C. Moore lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her daughter, dog and two cats.   She is an environmental friendly author.  ​

Coming from a family defined not too long ago by a strong American Indian heritage, she has always felt close to nature, the outdoors, plants and animals.  She knows that the earth was not put here at our disposal.  This author believes wholeheartedly in old school recycling (re-use glass jars, recycle what you can- try not to waste what you don’t have to- wants are not necessarily needs).  She gardens, makes her own jams and jellies, pressure cooks foods, and makes and uses only fresh goats milk soaps.

Tolomay’s World series came to her in a moment, and she began writing it that day.  It’s her hope that readers will enjoy not only the excitement and romance that these novels bring, but that the character's predicament may have an effect on how people think about our earth and environment.

While Tolomay’s World novels may be suitable for some mature YA readers, it is not recommended for the younger YA readers due to social content and mature social and adult theme.
